Since 1974, K. Murphy and Company has had a proud history of designing and building new homes and developing land for residential home sites in Elizabethtown and the surrounding area. We started in this business by offering housing that was simple and affordable and yet maintained our standards of quality. We survived the economic hardships of the early eighties, and now, more than four hundred projects later, our mission remains unchanged. We are members of the National Association of Home Builders and the Building Industry Association of Lancaster County. Since joining, our homes have won numerous awards, including the coveted "Fulton Award," representing the Best of Show over all categories.

Although the majority of the work we perform is new construction, one of our most visible projects has been the restoration of the Conewago Manor Inn. Nearly seven years in the restoration, this old house has been very much a labor of love. The painstaking work has not gone unnoticed, as the Inn has been featured on Home and Garden Television and has been detailed in Women's Day Magazine, Lancaster County Magazine, and has been acknowledged by many other local media sources.
